Journey to the Center of the Earth Trailer

Here below the trailer of Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D, upcoming sci fi / fantasy movie based on the famous novel by Jules Verne.

Here the trailer of Journey 3D:

I did not expect a movie of such a quality: it looks incrediby good! From far much better than the 1959 version.

Brendan was already known for his role in the Mummy (by the way Mummy 3 soon!), but I think Journey 3D will have even more weight in his cinematographic career.

A Journey to the Center of the Earth (French: Voyage au centre de la Terre), The classic 1864 science fiction novel written by Jules Verne (you may read it here), is going to be adapted to the cinema.
The story of the novel was involving a professor who leads his nephew and hired guide down a volcano in Iceland to the "center of the Earth". They encounter many adventures, including prehistoric animals and natural hazards, eventually coming to the surface again in southern Italy.

The movie will star Brendan Fraser, Josh Hutcherson and Anita Briem.

Here the plot:
"On a quest to find out what happened to his missing brother, a scientist, his nephew and their mountain guide discover a fantastic and dangerous lost world in the center of the earth." (Source: IMDb)

Actually this is not the first adaptation of Jules Verne's novel. The most famous movie adpatation dates back to 1959:

Let's hope the 3D monsters in the new adaptation starring Brendan Fraser will look better than those iguanas though.
